We warmly invite you to visit Skyheart Sanctuary and meet the animals who call it home. Each of our residents—mini-pigs, goats, mini-horses, and mini-donkeys—has a story to tell and a lesson to teach about resilience, care, and the quiet power of connection. Our guided tours offer a peaceful, educational experience where you’ll learn about compassionate animal care, the mission of the sanctuary, and experience the ways animals can bring communities together.
Private tours last around 40 minutes and are designed for groups of up to 10 people. A total contribution of $200 supports the care of our animals and the sanctuary’s educational mission.

We’re happy to accommodate groups larger than 10 or specialty group requests—such as birthday parties, field trips, outdoor meetings, photography tours, or team-building outings—when possible. Additional staff support may be required, and a custom quote will be provided based on group size and logistics. As a nonprofit organization, all events must align with and support Skyheart Sanctuary’s mission of compassionate animal care and community education.
Contributions for tours and events directly support our nonprofit work by helping to provide daily care for our resident animals, maintain and improve their habitats, and sustain our educational outreach. These experiences are offered as part of our public programming and are carefully designed to further our exempt purpose as a 501(c)(3) organization. What to Know Before You Book
🌿 What Is a Sanctuary?
Skyheart Sanctuary is a nonprofit farm animal sanctuary, which means our highest priority is the physical and emotional well-being of the rescued animals who live here. Unlike petting zoos, which exist primarily for entertainment and profit, our sanctuary exists to provide lifelong refuge, safety, and respect to animals in need.
Our animal residents are never forced to interact with visitors. They are given choice, space, and autonomy, and will live at Skyheart for the rest of their lives. In contrast to environments where animals may be handled against their will or discarded when they are no longer profitable, our residents are treated as individuals with preferences, personalities, and a right to peace.
By sharing their stories, our animals serve as ambassadors for compassion, helping visitors better understand the challenges farmed animals face in the world and encouraging empathy for beings who are often misunderstood.
